Graduate Students' Skills Mash-up Academic + Professional Development Partners

Join us for an informal day of focused skill re-tooling.  A one-day series of  workshops designed to provide you with on-the-spot-tools to sharpen your writing, build your teaching dossier or think forward to career options.

Designed in the abbreviated form, sessions are 25 and 55 minutes in length and provide you with practical skills and tools.

Sessions hosted by:  Centre for PedagogicaI Innovation, Library Services, Career Services and A-Z Learning Services and Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Skills Mash-up Schedule:

Noon to 1 p.m.: Greet and meet with sticky buns, cider and draw prizes

Workshop Sessions — Please note that workshops run concurrently — choices are as follows:

1-3:00 pm Resume Clinic @ 15 min. intervals (Classroom B) (Career Services)
A hard copy of your resume/CV is required. Please bring it with you. Space is limited.   

1-1:30 pm Time Management (Classroom A) (A-Z Learning Services)  

1:30-2 pm Time Management (Classroom A) (A-Z Learning Services)  

1-2pm  Documenting your Teaching Practice for Job Search  (E-classroom(Centre for Pedagogical Innovation)

2-3 pm Persuasive Proposal Writing (Classroom A) (A-Z Learning Services)
